Immediate thing to do is attempt to clean the area as thoroughly and carefully as possible with your toothbrush and then rinse the area well with warm salt water for about 1 minute. This will cleans the area. Do this repeatedly throughout the day, especially after meals. If you have no improvement after a couple of days visit your dentist who will assess you and possibly prescribe some antibiotics to aid healing of the area. But beware is this becomes a regular problem you will have to strongly consider having your wisdom teeth removed.
